Nancy Causey, Bodsana Pant Creator and Yoga InstructorThe Elimiline™ pant was created from a need – my need.  Being a yoga teacher, I live in yoga pants, and as I’m not a  fan of the ‘thong’, panty lines were a constant issue.  In addition, I have a small, yet real, handlebar problem (and folks, I’m not talking about the ones on my bicycle…). Lastly, I am past wanting to show off my navel, and assume that others have no interest in seeing it.  I was desperate for a stylish pant that would not hang too low.

I did eventually find a yoga pant that did not show off my navel. However, panty lines and ‘handle bars’ continued to plague me. Later, I was fortunate to find a pair of underwear, both expensive and delicate, that held me in a little and didn’t produce unsightly panty lines.  I decided to ask a dressmaker if the two garments could be merged into one.

The process was a long one, but finally I had created my own solution. It was comfortable and flattering, and every time I wore this pant, someone would ask me if I had lost weight. This amused me at first and then I became inspired.  Wouldn’t everyone I know want to look as though they had lost weight while wearing their yoga pant?

I happen to mention the comments I was getting to my husband, Dan Gabbe, and our friend, Allen Friedman (we all have apparel manufacturing backgrounds). The next thing I knew we were off and running. Well, probably not running, but at least moving in the direction of producing the Elimiline™ Pant.

It has taken several years to perfect our Elimiline™ pant. I hope you enjoy wearing them as much as I do.
